Vessel Surveys are comprehensive inspections to determine the condition and value of a vessel. The inspection usually includes such items as structural integrity, out-of-water inspection, sea trial, electrical systems, propulsion systems, fuel systems, machinery, navigational, and other miscellaneous on board systems. The vessel is also examined for appearance, electronics, and over all maintenance. The inspection is done in accordance with the recommendations and requirements of the ABYC (American Boating and Yachting Counsel), the NFPA (National Fire Prevention Association), and to assure the vessel is in compliance with the CFR (Code of Federal Regulations). A detailed report is compiled and accompanied by recommendations concerning compliance with these standards as applicable. Pictures of items of special interest are also included in the report.
